Chama to Abiquiu – 60 Miles

The route to Abiquiu was all on pavement on highway 84. The highway is lightly traveled and for the most part there was a large shoulder to ride on this rolling route. The rollers were about 1/2 mile in length with 3-4% grades. The first 30 miles was fast however I discovered that my comer was missing. Erika rode back 10 miles to look for the camera where we had a lunch break. Unfortunately for all of her efforts the camera was lost. She rode 20 extra miles just for me. My hero!
