According to the route we were supposed to ride 38 miles on pavement to Turpin Meadows however we decided to take a rest day in Jackson and ride 40 miles off route. A great decision! For most of the ride we were within view of the Teton Mountain Range. I had to train my eyes on the road instead of the spectacular view!

The last 20 miles was on a bike path away from the cars. It was great so we could relax and enjoy the scenery instead of concentrating on the passing vehicles. We had a strong side wind all the way. It was good practice for the head winds we are expecting in the WY basin.
