GDMBR Day 1 Spray Lakes

Day 1 was an easy 22 miles from Banff to Spray Lakes. Several tough short heart attack hills good for interval training and then some with the weight of the packs. The Canadian Rockies are amazingly beautiful.

Best experiences of the day – eating wild strawberries, camping next to Spray lakes with an awesome view, and watching a bear swim across Spray Lakes luckily to the shore on the other side of the lake!
