Lake Louise to Banff

We could have spent two more days at Lake Louise hiking and biking but the plan was to spend four days in Banff before starting the GDMBR. It’s a 36 mile ride from Lake Louise to Banff with rollers but time passed quickly because the scenery was spectacular. The rock mountains inspired and motivated is to keep going. Stopped for a hike at Johnston Canyon, went up to the lower and upper falls. The River was consistent with the Canada aquamarine color we’ve seen so far. Met many people, even some from San Jose and Alameda!
