Our first river crossing with the bikes fully loaded during a training ride. It’s a finger to the American river on Soda Springs road. It was snow run off and the water temperature was very cold and the crossing very long. We walked the bikes going out but Mayumi rode it coming back. It did not matter since our shoes got wet either way.
Mountains R Calling 
Have an absolutely fantastic time! The mountains call me too but I can only get as far as Lake Tahoe – not a bad place to land though.
